The next event is centered around thePokemon Violet-exclusive Ceruledgeand thePokemon Scarlet-exclusive Armarouge. The evolutions of Charcadet have both proven to be fearsome threats in all forms of battle, and players will be able to build out their rosters with a variety of both in this event.

When is the Ceruledge and Armarouge Tera Raid Event?
The Ceruledge and Armarouge Tera Raid event will run for one weekend, starting February 3. The official dates and times for the event are as follows:
During this period, Ceruledge and Armarouge will appear more frequently in four-star and five-star Tera Raid battles. Their raid dens will be shown with a special effect on the game’s map while they are available for capture.
The majority of these Pokemon will be Fire-type, but there’s a chance of encountering Ceruledge and Armarouge with any Tera-Type during this event. Grass-type Armarouge, in particular, is worth keeping an eye out for, with the Pokemon being particularly popular in ranked battles.
Best Ceruledge and Armarouge Counters for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Raids
There are a number of solidcounters to Ceruledge and Armarouge in Tera Raid battles, including Greninja, Roaring Moon, and Tyranitar. These Pokemon resist or are immune to each of the attacks that can be used by five-star Ceruledge and Armarouge raid bosses.
Ceruledge’s offensive tools include Bitter Blade, Shadow Claw, and Psycho Cut, while Armarouge has Armor Cannon, Psychic, and Night Shade. Both Pokemon have access to stat-boosting moves, Sunny Day and Will-o-Wisp.
If the player brings Greninja, Roaring Moon, or Tyranitar, they will likely have little trouble dealing with these Pokemon. The only catch is that it’s difficult to strategize offensively, as the raid bosses can potentially be any type.
Regardless, five-star raid bosses are significantly more manageable than those found inseven-star Tera Raid battles, so players don’t have to sweat too much, so long as they don’t bring Pokemon that are weak to any of their moves.
