Getting theDreamcatcher in Remnant 2can be a bit confusing at first but once players know exactly what items they’ll need and where to go, it can be done rather quickly. Remnant 2: How to Get Dreamcatcher
The first step toward obtaining the Dreamcatcher is to roll a version ofLosomn with theAsylum main scenario. For the uninitiated, this scenario centers around investigating an Asylum inMorrow Parish, and players will know that they have access to it if Morrow Parish is the first area that they visit in Losomn. If that map is not the starting location, fans mustre-roll theirRemnant 2campaigns(or Losomn in Adventure Mode) until it is.

Once a player has access to the Asylum scenario, they shouldfollow the primary objective markersuntil theyreach the Asylumon the Morrow Parish map. Upon arriving at that location, fans must set their sights on obtaining theNightweaver Stone Doll, and this guide coveringhow to get the Nightweaver Stone Doll inRemnant 2will assist with that endeavor.
With the Nightweaver Stone Doll in hand,Remnant 2playersshould resumefollowing primary objective markers, the next of which will appear on the top floor of the Asylum. Fans that continue to follow those markers will ultimately travel to theShattered Gallery, and they will find theSoulkey TributeQuest Item near that map’s exit. This item can then be inserted into theweb in the Asylum’s basementto open a portal to theTormented Asylum.
There are severalcellsvery near to the Checkpoint within the Tormented Asylum, and there is a largewebinside one of them. Interacting with that web will cause the Quest Item menu to appear, and players the choose to insert the Nightweaver Stone Doll will immediately receive the Dreamcatcher.
Remnant 2: Dreamcatcher Uses
As previously noted, the Dreamcatcher is not only for combat, as using it on certain NPCs will yield consumables that lead to unique items. Here are more details on how this works, and it is important to note that player must assign the consumables to aQuickSlotin order to use them:
Nimue (Crescent Moon Bow)
Players can findRemnant 2’s NimueinNimue’s Retreat on Losomn, and hitting her with the Dreamcatcher when she isasleepwill yield theNimue’s Dreamconsumable. Notably, fans can force Nimue to sleep simply by leaving her retreat and returning several times, and using the consumable will transport them toRetreat’s Horizon. Here, players can find a blue stone known asAnamy’s Echo, and McCabe in Ward 13 can use it to craft theCrescent Moon bow.
The Huntress (Familiar Weapon Mod)
While thisRemnant 2bosswill occasionally chase players throughLosomn’s Ironborough andForsaken Quarter, the Huntress can also be foundsleepingon those maps. Fans that hit this sleeping boss with the Dreamcatcher will receive theHuntress’s Dreamconsumable, which will transport them toBriella’s Reveriewhen used. Here, players will fight the Huntress, and defeating her will yield theSacred Hunt Feather, a material that can be used to craft theFamiliarweapon mod in Ward 13.
Pod on Root Earth’s Corrupted Harbor Map (Invader Archetype)
Not long after reaching the mid-map Checkpoint on Root Earth’s Corrupted Harbor map, players will encounter anengine room, and they can leave this room by way of a path on the ground level to reach a large arena. After finishing the battle in this arena, players should hit the large glowingpodon the ground (which awards the Escalation Protocol Amulet) with the Dreamcatcher to obtain theWalker’s Dreamconsumable. This consumable will sendSoulslikefans to a boss fight withBane, and theWooden Shivthat it drops can be given to Wallace in Ward 13 in order to unlock theInvader Archetype.
