Thanks to an early reveal from Apple’s App Store, the release date forDiablo Immortalmay have just been leaked, whose premiere seems to be slated for June 30th this year. Given that the release date has not been officially confirmed by Blizzard Entertainment as yet – in fact, given that the company’s public stance is that the date shown on the Apple App Store is a placeholder, it would still be prudent to treat this leak with a pinch of salt.
That being said,Diablo Immortalreleasing on June 30th makes a great deal of sense. The game has undergone a significant amount of polish over the years, expanding in scope and ambition compared to what it initially offered in 2018. It features many returning fan-favorite classes such as Barbarian, Monk, Crusader, Necromancer, Wizard, and Demon Hunter, as well as the potential to expand on that roster with anever-before-seenDiabloclassin the future.
Diablo Immortalhosted a successful closed betalast year, when the developers from Blizzard Entertainment took the player feedback in stride and made adjustments to the game’s Boon of Plenty in an effort to makeDiablo Immortal’smicrotransactions more rewarding. After the closed beta ended in January this year, many players have started to sing praises for how the final product turned out, as the moment-to-moment gameplay felt just as satisfying as any mainlineDiablotitle.
