Rounding out Yoshida’s top five wereJak 2for the PlayStation 2 andEchochromefor the PSP. Yoshida praisedJak 2for being an upgrade fromCrash Bandicootas there were no loading screens and made the story darker than the original.Echochromewas praised for its visuals, saying that it was art in video game form.
The rest of Yoshida’s top 10 games wereNo Heroes Allowed!, Siren Blood Curse, Ico, Tokyo Jungle,andRain. No Heroes AllowedIwas the only other PSP entry on the list afterEchochrome. No Heroes Allowed!is a management sim where players dig tunnels to stave off their enemies and is essentially a parody of the genre.

Siren Blood Curseis a sequel to the originalSirengame that was released for the PlayStation 2 in 2003. Yoshida noted that the graphical upgrade to the PlayStation 3 made it stand out from the original, but did say that players should playSirenbefore hopping intoBlood Curse.
For fans ofThe Last GuardianandShadow of the Colossus, Icois where it all started for game director Fumito Ueda. Released in 2001 for the PlayStation 2,Icoplays a lot like the other Ueda games, and Yoshida said fans should play the PS3 version due to the enhanced graphics. There’s a lot of patience involved inIco,but players will enjoy the visuals and story.
Tokyo Junglewas a very unique indie gamethat launched in 2012 during the PS3 era, with Yoshida calling it both “shocking” and “interesting.” Finally, there’sRain, another indie game that Yoshida called beautiful in both tone, story, and music. Yoshida added that because of the sound in the game, players should fully immerse themselves by wearing headphones while playing.
