WhenFinal Fantasy 14’s newest expansion launched in December 2021, players were enamored with what’s been confirmed to be the end of MMO’s current story saga. Yet something surprising in the MMO’s new content drew a lot of unexpected attention. Square Enix had added a vineyard toEndwalkerthat players visited as part of the expansion’s story. The grapes in the vineyard looked like they were from a Nintendo 64 game. As a result, they became a topic of humor both within the community and among theFinal Fantasy 14development team.
