Much like previous Bethesda titles,Starfieldcontinues the tradition of offering players a large and immersive game world full of activities, lore, and interesting game mechanics. Just as in theFalloutseries andSkyrim’s Hearthfire expansion, players will be able to purchase and rent a variety of homes across the Settled Systems, and there are several ways to go about acquiring space properties.Starfieldfeatures a wider range of player homes than in any previous title. What’s more, each one has its own distinct styleand location that is sure to suit a variety of tastes and preferences.
Unlike Outposts, which are aseparate gameplay element entirely, these properties exist in set locations within the world and cannot be redesigned in the way that a custom-built outpost can. However, some properties which the player can come to own will enable the customization of interior modules, giving players the ability to add facilities such as workbenches to help them on their adventures.
