Street Fighteris one of the most successful fighting game franchises of all time. For over 30 years,Street Fighterhas featured some of the most iconic characters in video games. Characters like Ryu and Ken have solidified themselves as some of the video game’s greatest fighters, butStreet Fighteris still introducing the world to new heroes and villains of their universe.

With the upcoming release ofStreet Fighter 6, fans are speculating how many new characters will make their first appearance and how many returning characters will come back, but one thing that people may forget about is guest characters. Guest characters from other franchises have been very popular in fighting games recently, and it’ll be interesting to see ifStreet Fighterjoins in on this popular trend.

6Kazuya

Kazuya is one of the main characters from theTekkenfighting game series. He was the main protagonist of the firstTekkengame but has been a major antagonist in every game since exceptTekken 3. Kazuya is the son of anotherTekkenlegend Heihachi Mishima and is determined to exact revenge on his abusive father. Kazuya would transition nicely into theStreet Fighterworld considering he is from a fighting game himself.

He has alreadymade contact with someStreet Fightercharactersin the crossover gameStreet Fighter X Tekken. Also, Akuma (aStreet Fighterstaple) was actually a guest character in the lastTekkengame, so it would make perfect sense forStreet Fighter 6to feature an iconic antagonist from theTekkenworld.

5Scorpion

Scorpion is the mascot and one of the main characters ofMortal Kombat, the brutal fighting game series. Scorpion has been featured in every mainlineMortal Kombatgame and is one of the most recognizable characters in all of gaming. He’s a ninja that was resurrected with evil magic after his entire family and clan were butchered by Sub-Zero.

Scorpion uses his expert fighting skills and demonic powers to do anything he can to get revenge for his clan’s murder. Scorpion would be a great addition toStreet Fighterbecause of his deep fighting game history.Mortal KombatandStreet Fighterhave never had the chance to crossover and now would be a perfect time for them to finally meet each other.

4Wolverine

Wolverine is the legendaryMarvelhero and one of the leaders of the X-Men. He’s been featured in dozens of different comic books, movies, television shows, and video games. Wolverine is hundreds of years old and possesses incredible mutant powers like accelerated healing and retractable claws.

Capcom has proven that Wolverine fits well in the fighting game genre by including him in many of their games in the past likeMarvel vs. Capcom,X-Men vs. Street Fighter, andMarvel Super Heroes. Considering Wolverine has metStreet Fightercharacters in a few of these crossover games, itwouldn’t be a stretch to add him toStreet Fighter 6.

3Morrigan

Morrigan is one of the main protagonists of Capcom’sDarkstalkersfighting game series. Morrigan is a succubus from the 1600s with a playful and mischievous attitude. Being an S-class demon, she possesses a vast amount of powers and abilities including teleportation, flight, and shape-shifting.

Darkstalkersis one of Capcom’s most beloved but still underrated franchises. It’s been many years since fans have had aDarkstalkersgame so including Morrigan inStreet Fighterwould be a nice treat. Chun-Li actually had a Morrigan skin inStreet Fighter 5so Capcom has shown that they still have love for her character.

2Leon Kennedy

Leon Kennedy is one of the main protagonists from theResident Evilfranchise. He was the primary character inResident Evil 2,Resident Evil 4, andResident Evil 6. Leon was a Raccoon City police officer who fought through dozens of infected and saw the destruction of his city in the initial outbreak. He now works as an anti-BOW agent, using his combat skills and biohazard knowledge to serve his country.

Street Fighterhas never included characters outside the fighting game genre before, but Leon would make for a great first step. He comes from another Capcom game, so they would have no problem getting the rights. Also,characters fromResident Evilhave been in other fighting games likeMarvel vs. Capcomso they have shown that they know how to adapt these characters to the genre.

1Mega Man

Mega Man is a video game legend from the iconicMega Manvideo games. Mega Man is the titular hero of the franchise filled with side-scrolling action. He’s been featured in dozens of games over the years and is basically the mascot of Capcom. Mega man isno stranger to fighting game crossoverseither. He’s been in many crossovers likeMarvel vs. CapcomandSuper Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Mega Man also had a bizarre appearance as the box art version of himself inStreet Fighter X Tekken. To top it off, Ryu had a Mega Man skin inStreet Fighter 5. Fans know Capcom loves to show off its most famous hero, soadding him as a playable character inStreet Fighter 6wouldn’t be too unexpected.
