Terraria’s newest and supposedly final update, Labor Of Love, brings with it a substantial amount of new content, likecross-over items with indie farming simStardew Valley, some bonus achievements to the game and some brand-new items. This update has brought a new lease of life to thebeloved 2D sandbox gamethat fans have adored for the past decade, giving them a plethora of new content to enjoy and sink more hours into.

First released in 2011,Terrariahas truly withstood the test of time, still remaining one of Steam’s most popular games today. With its randomly-generated 2D open environments with different themed biomes, an astounding amount of craftable objects and weapons, and non-linear gameplay,Terrariawill go be remembered as one of the best games in history thanks to the developers, Re-Logic’s, loving hand and their consistent updates. Many ofTerraria’s updates, like the Labor of Love,add plenty of items to their already-bursting repertoire, like theKwad Racer. Here’show players can get their own Kwad Racer drone inTerraria.
The Kwad Racer is an itemsold by the Cyborg NPCfor 10 gold. It is purely cosmetic and has no in-game benefits. Still, it is used to get the “To Infinity and Beyond” achievement added in theTerrariaLabor of Love update. The name of this achievement is a pop-culture reference to Buzz Lightyear’s famous quote from the 1995 beloved Pixar movieToy Story.
To get this achievement, players need to drive their Kwad Racer drone up into the Space level of their world at a depth of around 470, where it will destroy itself, triggering the achievement. Players can control their drone by using the up key to accelerate and the left/right keys to steer, and cannot move their player character while controlling the drone. They can see the positioning of their Kwad Racer by using the FPV Goggles item, also sold by the Cyborg for another 10 gold.
The Cyborg NPC
The Cyborg is a Hardmode NPC that will move into an empty houseonce Plantera has been defeatedin the current world. As his robotic nature and sci-fi appearance suggest, he sells many valuable techy items, like a variety of rocket ammunition for launcher ranged weapons. With the 1.4.4 Labor of Love update, the Cyborg now has a few new bonus items in his repository, including the Kwad Racer. Purchasing this item from him is the only way of obtaining it.
