12Strange Conduit Ring

Weapon Attacks Deal Bonus 1d4 Psychic Damage While Concentrating On Spells

This ring can be found at the very beginning of Act Two, although it may require a challenging encounter with the githyanki in order for players to get their hands on it. Found in a chest in the Inquisitor’s Chamber in the githyanki creche, this ring is perfect for half-casters, balancing spell casting with martial proficiency.

Whenever the wearer of this ring is concentrating on a spell, their weapon attacks will deal an additional 1d4 psychic damage. While not the most versatile, a damage boost is always worth having, even if it is a small one under quite specific circumstances.

Baldur’s Gate 3 Arabella

11Shadow Blade Ring

Shadow Blade Deals 2d8 Psychic Damage With Advantage On Obscured Targets

Players are actually quite likely to encounter this helpful ring, as it is the reward for completing a common side quest. The young tiefling, Arabella, can be found in the graveyard outside the House of Healing in Act Two, and she needs help finding her parents. Players who successfully complete this quest will be rewarded with the Shadow Blade Ring.

This ring allows players to cast the level two illusion spell, ‘Shadow Blade’, once per short rest. This weapon deals a strong 2d8 psychic damage, and gives advantage on attacks against targets in dim light or darkness. In the Shadow-Cursed Lands, players are sure to find plenty of them!

Baldur’s Gate 3, Ellie’s Grave By A Campsite

10Family Ring

Grants +2 To Death Saving Throws

The Family Ring is a strong ring with an interesting piece of lore found in the Ruined Battlefield. Players can find a note from a thief discussing how they had been tasked with retrieving the belongings of an old man that he’d had to relinquish to the shadow curse, in particular, the ring belonging to his beloved wife, Ellie, that she is buried with. The thief planned to keep this for themself but didn’t even make it through the shadow curse.

Luckily, players can finish the job by finding Ellie’s grave. It has been plundered by some creature, though, so players have to climb down the nearby cliff to find a burrow and retrieve the ring from there. It is worth the effort as it grants a +2 to death saving throws, making it much harder for its wearer to die.

Baldur’s Gate 3, House Of Healing Morgue

9Eversight Ring

Protects Wearer From Being Blinded

This ring is particularlyuseful for ranged characters, who frequently get targeted by spells and effects that blind them. True to its name, theEversight Ringprevents its wearer from being blinded. It can be found in an opulent chest in the House Of Healing Morgue.

Prepare for a fight, though, as players will have to pass shadow-cursed creatures to reach the morgue and then deal with the morgue’s undead inhabitants. Don’t be too concerned about the traps, as they don’t damage characters. Also, note that the chest needs lockpicking.

Baldur’s Gate 3, Skeleton In Between Beds In House Of Healing

8True Love’s Embrace

Cast Level Two Abjuration Spell, Warding Bond

As with the Family Ring, True Love’s Embrace is a ring that comes with a tragic tale of love. It is one of a pair of rings, the other being True Love’s Caress, belonging to a deceased married couple. True Love’s Embrace can be found on the skeleton of the husband in thesinister House Of Healing, along with a diary detailing the tragic fates of him and his love.

True Love’s Embrace allows its wearer to cast Warding Bond, a level two abjuration spell, once per long rest on the person that is wearing the matching ring, True Love’s Caress. It is a rare ring and definitely worth picking up, along with its counterpart.

Baldur’s Gate 3, Skeleton In House Of Healing Graveyard

7True Love’s Caress

Receive The Benefits Of Warding Bond

Naturally following its counterpart,True Love’s Caress can be foundon a skeleton in the House Of Healing Graveyard, presumably Miranda, partner to the skeleton in the House Of Healing, and once a cleric to Shar. Also a rare ring, the reason True Love’s Caress ranks above its counterpart is that the wearer of this ring is the one who gets to receive Warding Bond.

This means that they’re not the one who has to use an action, and they receive the benefits from the spell, while the wearer of True Love’s Embrace has to cast it, doesn’t receive the benefits, and also takes equal damage when the wearer of Caress gets injured.

Baldur’s Gate 3, Chest In Circular Tower Under Bench Covered In Vases

6Ring Of Twilight

+1 To Armour Class While Obscured

The Ring Of Twilight is an easy ring to get but an equally easy ring to miss, and its perk is quite a useful one, particularly for characters who are fond of stealth. It can be found in a circular tower in the Ruined Battlefield. The door is trapped, so players should disarm it or jump over, ensuring their companions don’t follow blindly into it.

Players will know they are in the right place as the tower has a Harper interrogation transcript on a chest inside it. Players can get the rare ring by looting a key from one of the many vases and then opening the rather obscured chest under the bench. Rather apt for how obscured the chest is, the ring gives its wearer a +1 to Armour Class while obscured.

Baldur’s Gate 3, Ketheric Thorm’s Chest On Moonrise Towers Roof

5Ring Of Exalted Marrow

Grants Access To Two Strong Level One Spell

This rare ring is the hard-earned reward fordefeating Ketheric Thormin the player’s initial confrontation with him on the roof of Moonrise Towers. And it is certainly a strong one! Players can loot the key to Ketheric’s Chest from Susdera and retrieve the ring from the chest.

The ring grants its wearer two abilities: Exhort The Risen and Ghoulish Touch. Both are level-one spells, with the former allowing its wearer to subjugate the will of undead and the latter dealing decent damage and potentially paralyzing a target for up to two turns. Both are pretty powerful spells to have at a player’s disposal, and players are likely to come across this ring during the apex of their time in Act Two.

Baldur’s Gate 3, Araj Oblodra

4Ring Of Free Action

Wearer Ignores Difficult Terrain And Can’t Be Restrained Or Paralyzed

This rare and very useful ring can be bought from Araj Oblodra in Moonrise Towers, so long as players haven’t initiated the assault on Moonrise. The ring’s wearer is able to ignore the effects of difficult terrain and cannot be restrained or paralyzed.

As many spells and effects at this stage in the game are likely to pose these problems for players, with paralysis being a particular pain, this ring can be blissful. It is also worth paying a visit to Araj because players can have interesting interactions with her, particularly if Astarion is at the party.

Baldur’s Gate 3, Marcus Calling Reinforcements

3Shifting Corpus Ring

Grants Access To Two Powerful Illusion Spells

The Shifting Corpus Ring allows players to cast two very powerful spells and is likely to be obtained by most players. It is looted off the body of Marcus, the Flaming Fist who betrays The Last Light Inn for Ketheric Thorm.

The rare ring allows players to cast Invisibility and Blur, two of themore powerful illusion spellsin the game. Definitely worth looting when players defeat him, although it is worth noting that it will be classed as stealing from the inn, so players will need to be sneaky. He’s usually not too hard to loot while staying out of sight, though.
