Like withThe Last of Us Part 1, your primary means of improving your gunplay is to find Weapon Parts and take them to one of the Workbenches found throughout the game.
Here iswhere you may find all 24 workbenches, so you can keep your weapons sharp and unlock the “In the Field” and “Prepared for the Worst” trophies. There are spoilers beyond this point, so proceed with caution.
Jackson – Patrol: Workbench Location

Impossible to miss,The Last of Us 2’s first Workbench is found while exploring a library during a snowstorm withEllie’s companion, Dina. After cutting through a workshop into the kids’ section, start up a generator andinteract with the Workbench before moving on.
Seattle Day 1 – Downtown: Workbench Location

Whileexploring Downtown Seattlein search of gasoline, you can explore a number of points of interest. At the FEDRA checkpoint on 5th Avenue, climb the stairs and squeeze through a gate tofind this Workbench in the corner of a tent.
Seattle Day 1 – Capitol Hill: Workbench Locations

After escaping the clutches of the WLF at Eastbrook Elementary, Ellie and Dina will set about finding Leah –one of Joel’s killers– at a nearby TV Station. On your way, you can find a workbench at a gas station in Capitol Hill.
After cutting through the Capitol Inn, head further down the street and deal with the nearby patrol at the laundromat. Even further down that same street is Seattle’s gay village, and just across from a bookstore is the gas station.The Workbench can be found in the garage there.

The second Workbench in Capitol Hill is found a little later, after cutting across the river and discovering the dead Infected by a horse belonging toJoel’s brother, Tommy. Finding a labyrinth of tripwires, cut through a dojo and enter the backrooms tofind the Workbench by a hole in the wall.
Seattle Day 1 – The Tunnels: Workbench Location

Later,Ellie and Dinawill be chased underground by WLF forces. Fighting through some Clickers, push forward into the flare-lit room with the burned body. Climb the ladder to the right andenter the room on the right of the dead Clicker. Inside is the only Workbench in thisThe Last of Us Part 2chapter.
Seattle Day 2 – Hillcrest: Workbench Locations

FollowingThe Birthday Gift flashback, Seattle Day 2 begins as Ellie investigates the suburb of Hillcrest in search of a “lone male trespasser.” Upon arrival, before investigating the distant gunshots, enter the Rosemont clothing store on the right of the street. At the back of the store, crawl through a hole behind the counter andfind the first Hillcrest Workbench in the basement.

A short while later, you will have to fight through a group of enemies, avoiding dogs for the first time. Getting past them and solving a small puzzle with a dumpster and a ramp will lead you to drop down into a bike shop.The second Hillcrest Workbench will be directly ahead.
Seattle Day 2 – The Seraphites: Workbench Locations

Followingthe Finding Strings flashback, Ellie decides to set off in search of Nora, one of Joel’s killers. Traveling along Route 5, you’ll cut through a FEDRA checkpoint and land back on the street. Further down the road, just past the skyway, take a left and head into the apartment complex through the broken basement window. Reaching the second story, go through the door on the right andinteract with the Workbench in a closet by the kitchen.

Nearing the end of The Seraphites chapter, after fighting through hoards of Stalkers andsquads of Seraphites, Ellie will once again spot the hospital and drop down from a roof into some water. From here, swim left and clamber the stairs into Weston’s Pharmacy. Inside,crawl into a hole along the left wall and look right to see the final Workbenchin The Seraphites chapter.
The first of two Workbenches in the Road to the Aquarium chapter ofThe Last of Us Part 2is found shortly after leaving the theater with Jesse. After coming up to a road blockage, cut through a building on the right and go through a door. Just in front of the double doors in the back is an open door blocked by fallen filing cabinets;crawl beneath them and find this Workbench to the left.
The second Workbench in Road to the Aquarium is found a while later, after taking on a crew of WLF along a flooded street. Diving under the log at the far end of the road, make your way up the muddy slope and into the broken-down department store. Before going further,turn back on yourself and head into the office past the mannequins, where you can find the Workbench.
Seattle Day 3 – The Flooded City: Workbench Locations

The Flooded City begins as Ellie steals a boat from a crew of WLF in a decrepit mall. After riding for a while and cutting through a garage, the engine will sputter and you will have to restart it. Drive around the fence and pass by the Seattle Sleep Warehouse tostop at a garage with an awning covered in blue tarp. The first Flooded City Workbench is just inside. At this point, you shouldunlock the “In the Field” trophyfor finding 12 Workbenches.

Deeper into The Flooded City, you’ll again run into a shutter, this time in an abandoned arcade. Leave your boat and head to the second story, where players ofThe Last of Us Part 1will seesome scarily familiar injurieson some Seraphite corpses. The final Workbench of The Flooded City isin the corner of the room by some motorbike arcade machines.

Nearing the end of the Hostile Territory chapter, you’llfight some Seraphitesnear Martyr’s Gate in Chinatown. Cutting through an office block and crawling through some rubble, turn left and enter the Seraphite camp.The Workbench is by the wall underneath the world map.

To absolutely no one’s surprise, The Forest chapter ofThe Last of Us 2begins in the forest following the winter flashback. After a tensefight against Stalkersin the wood the woods and a confrontation with a brute, you’ll enter an auto shop with Lev and Yara.Go to the left side of the garage to find this Workbench.

After leavingLev and Yarain the shipyard office at the start of this chapter, climb over the fence and enter the WPL building.The Coast Workbench is on the left as you enter.

Working your way up the rapids throughout The Shortcut, you’ll climb your way out of a café filled withThe Last of Us' Infected. Cross the rapids and enter the Interbay phone store on the other side.The first Workbench in this chapter is at the far end of the store, on the left as you enter.

After some building scaling, you and Lev will be attacked by Seraphites. Kill them and climb the ladder in the restroom on the far side of the office.In the room next to the Prophet mural, next to another ladder, you can find the second Workbench in The Shortcut chapter.
Seattle Day 2 (Abby) – Ground Zero: Workbench Location

The final Workbench of Abby’s Day 2 is found duringthe Ground Zero chapter, as Abby scours the lower floors of the hospital for a surgical kit. Entering the quarantined area in the Emergency Room, squeeze through the broken doors into Surgery. Walk through the last door on the left and climb through a hole near the ceiling.Go into the generator room on the left to gain access to the Ground Zero Workbenchat the far end of the room.
Seattle Day 3 (Abby) – The Island: Workbench Location

Seeing the WLF boats arrive on the Seraphite Island while searching for Lev, you’ll avoid a patrol, pass a watchtower, and enter a clearing with two A-frame huts.The only Workbench found during The Island is in the hut on the left.

After fighting your way through a brewery patrolled byAbby’s WLF compatriots, you’llboost Lev up to a ladder and enter another building through a window. The Escape Workbench is in the corner.

Santa Barbara – Pushing Inland: Workbench Location

The penultimate Workbench inThe Last of Us 2appears when we rejoinEllie in Santa Barbara, hot on Abby’s heels. Leaving the beach, we’ll fight our way through some Infected and enter a mansion via the roof. Dropping down to ground level, clear the house of Shamblers and enter the kitchen.The Pushing Inland Workbench is beside the Cordyceps growths on the wall.
Santa Barbara – The Resort: Workbench Location

The final Workbench is found in The Resort chapter. After fighting through some enemies on the streets, you’ll enter the Rattler’s plantation by crawling through a chainlink fence. Clearing out this initial area will allow you to freely interact with the Workbench, which sitsin the hut in the center of the courtyard.
