Like many episodes before, and in the vast content of allStar Wars,The Mandalorianfeatures some great quotes, and the best quotes from this newestStar Warsepisode come from characters with unique cameos, funny interactions, and bright futures.

10“All It Takes Is A Few Credits”

When a young member of Mon Calamari royalty is being taken back home and away from his love, he tells Koska Reeves that he thought Mandalorians were honorable. Without missing a beat, Reeves replies “All it takes is a few credits”. It’s a cold line that shows where the loyalty of Mandalorian mercenaries lies. It is not with their honor or their people, but what pays.

There’s a reason that Mandalorians are so good at what they do, and it all harks back to credits. If the job pays, then their honor can be bought. It helps audiences understand Reeves and her crew with their motives for being Mandalorian.

9“I Have Spoken”

The Ugnaughts are a proud and hard-working people. It is hard for people to understand their culture, and they grow frustrated with their blunt conversation. However,Din Djarin has been friendswith an Ugnaught before, and he confidently speaks to the Ugnaughts thanks to the time he spent with Kuiil.

Din Djarin utters the famed phrase of Kuiil with “I have spoken”, a phrase that brings forth the attention and respect of the Ugnaughts. It’s a fun quote that harks back to the original season ofThe Mandalorian.

8“Take A Little Sip-Sip”

Who else but Jack Black could pull off a line like “Take a little sip-sip”? It’s a chuckle-inducing line, heightened by the fact that it is the charisma of Jack Black’s cameo that cements this line into the episode. Jack Black’s character is Captain Bombardier, and the scene this quote is from is within his introduction.

It’s impossible to miss Jack Black’s star power, and even more impossible to deny his charismatic way with his dialogue. Although the line is rather silly, that’s what makes it work. It would feel so strange to hear a line like this from anyone else.

7“I Wouldn’t Do that If I Were You”

The battle droids return from the Prequel era, complete with their original voice work. The voice of the battle droids is iconic and has been featured in manyStar Warsentries. Here, they return as recommissioned and reprogrammed workers to benefit the human population of Plazir-15.

There is a considered factory worker battle droid who tells Din Djarin “I wouldn’t do that if I were you”, a response to Din’s repeated kicking of random battle droids. The voice of the battle droid expresses worry and concern and is rather funny to hear.

6“You Want Me To Pull Your Hearing Sensors Too?”

Din Djarin can be rather impatient, and something that irks him above everything else is droids. Din Djarin has unresolved trauma from droids. He does not trust them, whether that’sthe Outer Rimor not. This stems from his childhood, in which Separatist battle droids killed his family, and his home, and left him orphaned and in the hands of Death Watch and the Way.

As a droid bartender asks if they can help, Din Djarin simply responds with “You want me to pull your hearing sensors too?” It’s a definitive threat that shows that Din Djarin has no respect or time for droids, and is not afraid to threaten them to shut them up.

5“Human Life Is So Short. They Don’t Ask That Much Of Us.”

The bartender’s droid may make Din Djarin reconsider his hatred for droids, as the droid speaks emotionally about human life, and how important and precious it is compared to their own. It’s strange to hear these words from a droid, considering the poor treatment thatStar Warsfans have seen from them across the franchise and the galaxy.

However, it is rather emotional to see that despite all the droids doing in servitude to humans, they do it because they want to, even if the majority of that want is programming. The fact that they think humans do not ask much is sad, as they ask for their entire devotion and servitude.

4“Separatist Is A Pejorative Term”

Commissioner Helgait may have revealed himself as a Separatist, but he is not apologetic for it. He believes that the term itself is a pejorative term which means that it expresses contempt or disapproval. He is confident in his political beliefs and doesn’t care who knows them. It makes Helgait dangerous, especially after all the Separatistsdid to the clone army.

Helgait has managed to hide his beliefs during the Grand Republic, the Empire, and now the New Republic, yet he cannot hide it anymore. Helgait could have been a new danger to the galaxy, especially with a new set of battle droids at his command.

3“Count Dooku Was A Visionary”

In Helgait’s rant about the Separatists, he mentions Count Dooku, a classicStar Warscharacter that many would have considered dead and forgotten, especially since it had been decades since his rise as a Separatist and a Sith Lord. However, it seems that Helgait had not forgotten.

Helgait is resentful of the Jedi Order, believing that Dooku waskilled for his beliefs. It’s interesting to see the impact that Count Dooku had on the galaxy far, far away, even after all of these years since his death at the hands of Anakin Skywalker.

2“Is There No Room For A Little Bit of Forgiveness In A Galaxy So Vast?”

Lizzo’s compassion as the Duchess shows with her words towards Commissioner Helgait. Despite his crimes, she cannot bring herself to hate. It’s a nice and touching moment that shows that no one inStar Warsis beyond redemption. After all, it was compassion that won the war, and compassion that brought Darth Vader into the Light side of the Force.

Forgiveness is important and it’s a competent lesson in theStar Warsuniverse.Lizzo’s guest appearanceas The Duchess is right with her words since the galaxy is so vast and ever-expanding inStar Wars, that it would be a shame for forgiveness to lack.

1“Mandalorians Are Stronger Together”

Now reunited with the Darksaber, it seems thatBo-Katan is making steady progressin her attempts to reclaim Mandalore and become the ruler that her people need.

Her words echo true, and audiences have seen them before. Mandalorians are deadly warriors, but when they work together, they are unstoppable.Bo-Katan is confidentin her words that by working together, their culture can thrive again, even after the Empire’s attempt at extinction.
