A new game inThe Witcherseries has been revealed to be in development by CD Project Red. This next entry is apparently unconnected to the previous trilogy ofWitchergames, instead acting as the beginning of a “new saga” in theWitcheruniverse. Despite this, the announcement has re-sparked interest in the previousWitchertitles, with many fans returning to the previous trilogy while awaiting further news of the next game.

The first threeWitchergames are each massive and dense RPGs that take hundreds of hours to complete. Replaying these games is no mean feat in itself, which is why some fans have opted to express their excitement for the upcomingWitchergame in other ways such as fan art. Fan art has long been a popular way for fans to show their appreciation forThe Witchergames and their fan favorite characters.

One such fan artist is Reddit user digimeng, who has created a minimalist poster design for each of the first threeWitchergames. Each poster uses the same style and color scheme which gives a nice uniformity across all three games. But the posters also show silhouettes of each game’s differently designed Geralts which makes each iteration easy to recognize for fans of the games.

The posters also have different minimalist backgrounds layered over them which relate to their respective games. These backgrounds help to remind fans of the aesthetic styles that permeated each game. TheWitcher 2’s poster, for example, features the towering La Valette Castle Monastery that features prominently in the campaign ofThe Witcher 2and is thelocation of a choice that affectsThe Witcher 3.
