Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandshas just received a new update, following a rather large patch that was issued earlier in May. Accompanying this hotfix update is the continuation of last week’s Weekly Event, while the update has made numerous changes to a variety of weapons throughoutTIny Tina’s Wonderlands.

Released in March earlier this year,Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandsis the latest looter-shooter by Gearbox Software, a spinoff ofthe acclaimedBorderlandsfranchise. The game has been positively received by fans and critics thanks to the tried-and-trueBorderlandsformula along with aDungeons & Dragons-style infusion of fantasy and the sort of laugh-out-loud comedy the franchise is known for. Rather than the player choosing one specific character associated with a class, players are given the opportunity to create their very own characters along with unique builds from a combination of several available skill trees. Players explore the world through a board game-style map that will be a very familiar setting for tabletop gamers.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandshas been receiving regular updates since it was released, usually on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, along with larger additions fromSeason Pass content drops like Coiled Captors. The latest of these smaller updates brings the game up to version 1.0.3.5c and is focused on rebalancing some of the game’s weapons. Weapons that spawned elemental puddles were previously dealing damage according to the weapon’s base damage, rather than what is displayed on the item card. This inconsistency has been fixed so players using those weapons should now be seeing consistent results. Weapons such as Carrouser, Envy, Tootherator, and Skeep Pod have seen damage increases, while Portable Sawmill’s ammo consumption has been reduced by 1, with a 66% damage scaling reduction to compensate.

Along with the rebalancing of puddle-spawning weapons is the continuation of the limited-time Blinged-Out Badasses Weekly Event which began on June 2.Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands' latest mini-eventhas Badass enemies dropping more cosmetics than usual, and are also dropping cosmetics from an expanded loot pool. Lucky players may find Badass enemies dropping cosmetics that they normally wouldn’t, so this is a great opportunity for fashion-oriented Fatemakers on the hunt for more appearance options. The Chaos Chamber has also been updated with a new Featured Run, so the leaderboards have been reset for this week’s challenge. The event will run until 9:00 AM PT on June 16.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandshas been experiencing a reversal in opinion from the gaming community due to disappointment surrounding its DLC. WhilepreviousBorderlandsDLCusually had playtimes into the multiple-hour range,Tiny TIna’s Wonderlands' Mirrors of Mystery are much shorter, with emphasis on replayability. Hopefully, the continued updates and events are a sign that Gearbox is listening to its players and will eventually introduce more meaningful content to appease the game’s fans.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandsis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
