Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandsis launching near the end of March, throwing players into another game of Bunkers and Badasses (Borderlands’ version ofDungeons and Dragons) with Tina herself as the gamemaster. It’s highly based on theAssault on Dragon Keep DLC inBorderlands 2but with the formula dialed up and turned into its own game. Understandably, there’s a lot of hype behind this upcoming spin-off to the franchise.

Thus far, a lot of gameplay aspects have been shown. There’s been a little combat, a few previews, andclass reveals forTiny Tina’s Wonderlands. But, for those who want more, Gearbox has shown off 20 minutes of gameplay.

Creative Director Mat Cox opens up the gameplay with a quick look atTiny Tina’s overworld, completing a quest there, picking up a new one, and smoothly transitioning to the first-person gunplay of the franchise. Anyone familiar withBorderlandswill likely feel at home in the moment-to-moment gunplay of the franchise, though abilities, spells, and other intricacies add new depth to the combat.

ThisTiny Tina’s Wonderlandsgameplaytakes players through an icy area into a deep mountain, really showing all the visual capabilities of the game. Near the end of the video, fans of the franchise also get to see gameplay revolving around a boss fight. As many know, the Borderlands franchise has always had unique, compelling, and fun boss fights-especially when it comes to raids.Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandsshows off gameplay of a typical boss, but all of it remains encouraging.

If players have been on the fence about Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, there’s a strong chance this gameplay will be able to persuade players, or dissuade them if it really isn’t their style. But at the end of the day, video games are all about fun, andTiny Tina’s Wonderlandsseems packed with fun factor. For those ready to get hands-on with it, it’s not too far from release. March 25 is right around the corner.
