At September’s PlayStation Showcase event, Naughty Dog revealed theUncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, a collection of two remasteredUnchartedgames that originally released on the PS4. These two games wereUncharted 4: A Thief’s EndandUncharted: Lost Legacy, both thrilling and memorable adventures that placed Nathan Drake and Chloe Frazer in starring roles and were filled with many twists and turns. Naughty Dog also announced that this collection would be coming not only to Sony’s latest console, the PS5, but to the PC platform as well.
With two new platforms, the development of each version of game has been split to allow better optimization.Naughty Dog’s developers are working on the PS5 version, while Iron Galaxy Studios will be responsible for the PC port. The latter studio in particular has ported many different games to PC, likeSkyrim,Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy, and more.

Recently, thisUnchartedcollection had its Steam Page go liveon the database and platform, where fans are able to wishlist the game before its release. Not only did that page go online, but the page on the Epic Games Store also went up as well. Considering both platforms have pretty big user bases, this helps extend the reach to other PC gamers, andUncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collectioncould potentially even become a free game giveaway through the storefront in the future.
The description in comparison to the Steam version is quite similar, where it is aiming for an early 2022 release date, with the PC specifications to run the collection not announced at this time, either. The features seem to only include singleplayer, so the possibility ofUncharted 4’s multiplayer modes being omitted from these re-releasesis possible, backing up previous reports. However,Uncharted’s singleplayer adventures have typically been the main draw of the series, with exciting cinematic set-pieces and fire fights featured throughout.
With this remaster bringing these two games to the Epic Games Store platform, there is potential for otherPlayStation PC Portsto also make their way to the storefront too. Others have already been a part of the storefront, with games likeHorizon Zero Dawnhaving served as Epic’s free game for a limited time. While there is no specific release date for the collection of games just yet, these pages point to an announcement coming relatively soon.
