Players have the ability toimprove their campsby building certain structures that provide different perks and bonuses. What starts off as a simple bonfire between four friends can eventually turn into a whole mobile barracks that can accommodate an entire warband. Here’s an overview ofcamp upgradesinWartalesand how to make them.
How To Build Camp Upgrades
Set up the camp by pressing the tent icon on the lower-right portion of the screen. Here, players will be able to see all of their party members, including whatever captured NPCs they might have, as well as all the camp structures they have currently built. In the beginning, these structures usually amount to just a campfire and a simple Workshop, but that’s fine since these are all players need to get started.
First, assign a party member to become a Tinkerer,a profession that’s dedicatedto making assorted items and camp equipment. Go to the camp, click on the Workshop, and assign a Tinkerer from there. Once this is done, players will be able to see all the craftable items and camp structures they have unlocked.

To make a camp structure inWartales, simply gather all the necessary materials and click on the build button. The structure will then appear in the party’s inventory—right-click on it there, and players will be able to place it anywhere within the campground.
How To Unlock More Camp Structures
The camp structure selection at the beginning of the game will be very limited. In order to unlock more options, players will need to go through a few hurdles first.
The first way to get more camp structure blueprints inWartalesis to unlock them via theCompendium, which is the open book logo on the bottom-right of the screen. There is a small banner on top of the initial list of passive skills there that leads to a screen filled with unlockable camp structures.

Another way is to assignprofessionsto different characters. Some professions will automatically unlock some related camp structures. For example, turning a party member into aScholarfor the first time will make theLecternavailable for building. Professions are separate fromthe different character classes, so players are free to pick and choose one for their ideal candidates.
Lastly, some camp structure blueprints are sold by NPCs. Examples of these include theTanning Rackfrom the Athes' Trackers Camp and theTraining Dummyfrom the Smot Arena vendor.
