Warzone 2 Field Upgrade Basics

Field upgrades exist separately from standard equipment, being visibly stored as a large icon on a player’s HUD that can be activated at any time during gameplay once acquired.

Warzone 2: Revive Pistol

The suppression mine field upgrade acts as a kind of long-lasting flashbang that can be planted on the floor, only being activated when an enemy steps over it. Then, Battle Rage is one of the more unique new field upgrades, taking the form of an “experimental stimulant” that can offer some serious short-term advantages in combat. When activated, Battle Rage will grant the player a brief period of faster health regeneration, complete resistance to tactical equipment, and constant tactical sprint.
The final new field upgrade inWarzone 2is the inflatable decoy. Upon activation, the inflatable decoy takes the form of a life-size operator, standing in place to confuse and distract any potential hostiles that may be about to storm a player’s position. While the pre-existing field upgrades of the firstWarzonehave carried over into the sequel, it is clear thatthe new additions ofWarzone 2have earned their place at the forefront of the game’s field upgrade metas.
