Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 5 Release Date
As previously mentioned,Modern WarfareSeason 4 is set to end on August 4th, and it is likely that the game’s fifth season will follow shortly after. Looking at the game’s history, Season 3 ended on June 2 and Season 4 started on June 10, so players should expect some downtime between seasons. Originally, Season 4 was supposed to launch immediately after Season 3 ended, but given the political climate at the time, Infinity Ward decided to postpone Season 4 for a few days to give way for people who are “speaking up for equality, justice, and change,” the studio said in a tweet.
Having said all this, it is likely that Season 5 would begin immediately after Season 4 and could launch as early as August 5th. Since then, dataminers discovered some weapons that are still not included in the game such as the M200, R700 Sniper Rifle, and the SPAS-12. It is worth noting that all of these weapons have been datamined before but are still not featured in the game.

As of the moment, it appears thatWarzonewill continue to run onModern Warfare’sengine, with its development to be led by Raven Software, the team behindBlack Ops 4’sBlackout mode.
As far as pricing is concerned,Call of Duty Modern Warfare’sSeason 5 Battle Pass will likely be priced at $9.99 or 1,000 COD Points. The Battle Pass is expected to include 100 tiers for players to attain, and each tier will give players access to new customization options, weapons, and timed XP boosts.
