Frozen Loot Locations

After receiving today’s task from the Winterfest Cabin, players will need to head into a match to find some Frozen Loot, aptly named for its appearance in-game. After dropping, Frozen Loot is spread throughout many zones in the form of giant ice cubes. There are eight possible locations where Frozen Loot can be found on thesnowy version of Chapter 2’s map. These places include well-known areas such as Salty Springs, Misty Meadows, and Frenzy Farm. Additionally, the ice cubes can be found between different areas like in the body of water dividing Misty Meadows from Lazy Lake.

Once found, players will need to chew through the ice cube’s 3,500 hit points to get what loot is inside. After breaking the ice, possible loot includes floppers and different variants of guns like scars to help survival. At that point, once the game is finished,Fortniteplayers can head back to the Winterfest Cabin and collect their reward for the challenge.

Today’s Fortnite Prize

For completing the day 9 challenge, players will receive the Crackshot music pack, contrasting with the other cosmetic rewards up to this point. This track can be selected and played from the main lobby, spreading the holiday spirit without having to go back into battle.

In the end, today’s challenge to find Frozen Loot isn’t the easiest of the bunch players have completed up to this point. However, it also isn’t themost difficult challenge Fortnite has ever seen, especially after knowing all the spawn locations of the ice cubes. But to access the rest of the challenges and rewards, this task will have to be completed now or eventually before Winterfest ends after New Year’s.
