Now, theTurbulent Timeways have returned toWorld of Warcraft. For the next five weeks, players will be able to experience one Timewalking campaign after another, with each featuring the typical activities and rewards available in their respective events. However, this run of the Turbulent Timeways has two new features: the Knowledge of Timeways experience buff, and the Sandy Shalewing mount.

When players complete a Timewalking dungeon during the Turbulent Timeways, they are given a Distilled Knowledge of Timeways potion. Drinking it grants a 5% experience buff for two hours, but drinking more potions increases the effect and duration. Consuming four potions transforms it into Mastery of Timeways–a 30% experience buff that can have its duration further extended with more potions.World of Warcraftplayers can earn the new mount via the Master of Turbulent Timeways achievement, which requires players to get the Mastery of Timeways buff every week during the Turbulent Timeways event.

Between the new experience buff and the recently loweredlevel requirements for Timewalking dungeons inWorld of Warcraft, the Turbulent Timeways event is a great time to level alts. Here is the rotation of Timewalking events coming in the Turbulent Timeways event forDragonflightSeason 2:

The end of the first Turbulent Timeways event coincided with the release of Dragonflight Season 2 and Patch 10.1. If it follows precedent,World of Warcraftcould be planning to release Patch 10.2, Guardians of the Dream, near the end of the Turbulent Timeways event. Blizzcon 2023 also takes place the weekend after the event is over, so regardless of when the patch releases, the next couple of months are going to be very exciting forWorld of Warcraftfans.
