When launchingWorld of Warcraftin the monthsbefore the release ofThe War Within, players are presented with a new leveling experience, and a way to collect lots of new collectibles. ButMoP Remixmay seem overwhelming to some, especially with the sheer number of rewards on offer and all the ways to empower your characters.
TheMoP Remixeventwill go on for a few months, and though the game mode changes a lot about how players experience and interact with Pandaria, it’s not as complicated as it first seems. This guide explains what you should do first inMoP Remix, and how to make the most of the opening few hours of this unique limited-time approach to revamping older expansions.

What You Should Do First in MoP Remix
Create A Timerunner & Complete The Intro
The first thing you should do inMoP Remixis decide which character you will play. With all of the new abilities and ways to power up, no one class is particularly bad (though Rogues can be tedious in their leveling experience). The most important thing toconsider is your character’s class.
Pick a class that you haven’t played before, or one that can perform a role in group content that you’ve been wanting to learn.MoP Remixis pretty forgiving, and thus a perfect training ground for a new Healer or Tank to learn the ropes.

The character you choose inMoP Remixwill transfer over toThe War WithinwhenMoP Remixends, so think about what classes you want to bring into the game’s next major expansion. With Warbands becoming a feature, your Alt army will be more useful than ever.
After deciding your class,MoP Remixplayers will be whisked to the intro to the event. There are a few quests here that introduce you to the Bronze and Cloak of Infinite Potential systems. Complete this intro to be transported to your faction’s starting point in theMists of Pandariaexpansion.

Become Familiar With The MoP Remix Gem & Upgrade Systems
There are a lot of new systems at play inMoP Remix, mostly centered on the vast array of cosmetics and collectables that can only be obtained during the event. However, perhaps in the same vein asSeason of DiscoveryRunes, the new Gem system makes some interesting changes to theDragonflightgameplay, giving new powers and major stat enhancements to players as they level up throughMoP Remix.
It’s worth spending some time to learnhow newMoP RemixGems work, because in addition to a set of them that simply enhance your stats, these Gems can grant new powers and abilities from other classes. Socketed into your gear, like the Runes ofSoD, certain Gems are more useful for different roles than others – a Hgem that procs off of Healing is useless for a Rogue, but perfect for a Mistweaver Monk.

There isalsoa new Upgrade systemthat lets players continue to use gear they find at early levels. There are around 36 upgrade levels to all gear inMoP Remix, depending on the piece, and you can increase the iLvL of gear you like with Bronze.
Additionally, there is of course theCloak of Infinite Potential. Threads for the Cloak can be acquired by opening Caches of Infinite Treasure or by killing enemies, and each improves your basic stats by a tiny amount.

Learn these systems before going intoMoP Remixto make the most of it and calculate which Gems you need to get to maximize your build.
Check Out The MoP Remix Rewards & Vendors
Aside from gameplay changes andoverhauls to the originalMoPexperience,MoP Remixrewards players for their time in the event with the ability to purchase almost any cosmetic or collectible from the expansion – even things that have since been removed from the game, or are extremely difficult to farm.
At the Infinite Bazaar in almost every Pandaria zone, you can trade Bronze for these items, which range from around 500 Bronze for the cheapest pets and ensembles to around 40,000 for the rarestMoPmounts like the Kor’kron Juggernaut.

On the world map, look for the purple triangle icon in each zone to find the Infinite Bazaar location for each area. Just about every NPC in the area sells a different stock of items; one sells pets and mounts, one sells class ensembles, one sells consumables, etc. Find these vendors and peruse their stock to find what you want to target with Bronze you earn during the event.
Try Out New Leveling Methods Like LFR & Scenarios
Another big draw for theMoP Remixevent is the return ofcontent that has been lost to timeand content updates, as well as the inclusion of new level-up methods like Level-Up Raids.
Another feature perhaps inspired by the successes ofSeason of Discovery,MoP Remixplayers canstart using LFR forMoPraids at the low, low level of 25. Though this XP dwindles at later levels, it’s worth running raids as often as you can for the extra Bronze rewards, daily quests, and chance for additional drops.
But even more interesting than that isthe return of ScenariosfromMists of Pandaria. These mini-instances bring together a group of role-agnostic classes to take on a minor objective. In one you might be tasked with a traditional room-by-room dungeon crawl with a single boss, and in another, you might be asked to help a Pandaren brew a special brew while fending off Hozen on an island.
Both LFR and Scenarios offer players new ways to gain XP while taking on unique content tosee all of what Pandaria has to offer. Some of this content is tied to Achievements, too, which themselves reward specialMoPremix rewards once unlocked.
What To Do At Max Level in MoP Remix
Once you have reached max level of 70, there are really three major things left to do: endgame group content, farming Bronze to unlock as many cosmetics as possible before the event ends, and starting more Alts.
Raidingwill look completely different inMoP Remixthanks to all the new powers, but considering howmany awesome transmog, mounts, and more are on offer, it might be more worth your time to finish quests & Achievements formaximum Bronze gains.
But because leveling is so easy, and because Alts will be much more highlighted and useful inThe War Withinwith the Warband system, it’s worth considering asecond, third, or even more characters inMoP Remix. With every character you start after reaching max level on one, your other Alts will gain a Bronze and XP boost, too, making it even easier to get more rewards while leveling.
If you have the drive, consider starting a Cloth, Leather, Mail, and Plate armor classeach tounlock and use all the transmoginMoP Remix. In addition to more cosmetic options, you’ll have more of a choice for your main inThe War Withinwithout having to rely on a Character Boost for classes you are missing.
