Developed by Plano, Texas-based Robot Entertainment,Orcs Must Die!is a series of fantasy genre hybrids that combine elements of third-person shooters with tower defense gameplay. The first two entries in the franchise were released in the early 2010s, whereasOrcs Must Die! 3debuted as a timed Google Stadia exclusivein July 2020 before making its way to PC and consoles a year later.
The game has now also reached Microsoft’s subscription service, having launched as part of theXbox Game Pass April 2024 Wave 2 lineup. As is the case with most additions to the platform, the Game Pass version ofOrcs Must Die! 3is being offered to both PC and console owners, in addition to being available via Xbox Cloud gaming.
