TheCall of Duty: Warzonecommunity has found tons of alternate ways to play the game. From alternative controllers to self-designed challenges, the goal for every player is to increase the difficulty and show off theirWarzoneskill.
Where most players strive to get better, this fan decided to turn his attention to his best friend. After a series of trials and errors, thisWarzonesuccessfully taught their dog to play the game to a certain degree. Whilerebinding controls to a drumsetis one thing, teaching a dog to play video games is an entirely different challenge.

After seeing other videos of dogs playing video games, this YouTuber decided to test hisdog’s potential atWarzone.The first step was modifying the keyboard so that the dog could press buttons. Using two large cardboard squares, he managed to set up the keyboard so that one button would walk forward and the other would fire the gun. After this, he set to training the dog to press buttons on command using positive reinforcement and a large bag of puppy treats.
With the dog trained and ready, it was time to put her in the match and see if she could get a kill. The process involved the dog using the two most important controls of the game while the YouTuber controlled aiming and the camera. Together theylaunched into aWarzonematchand prepared for the worst.
After several deaths, eventually he managed to find a patch of players that were more dog accessible. Carefully aiming, the YouTuber told the dog to shoot and watched as iteliminated its first player. Of course, as per the training, he immediately rewarded the dog with treats and pets making sure it knew that it had just accomplished a great thing.
By the end of the video, the dog - with some help - did manage to score three kills. This isan impressive feat asWarzoneisn’t a dog-friendly game to play. With so many competitive and aggressive players, it would not be hard to kill an enemy whose player is an actual dog.
While the authenticity of these kills can be debated, the adorableness of the video is much harder to fight. The dog is obviously trying its hardest and despite not knowing what the buttons do, she did manage to kill three players by hitting the proper square.
