Those hoping to complete everything that the game has to offer can expect to spend more than twice that amount due to the sheer volume of side content that the developers were able to cram in.

With this in mind, most players will likely be feeling pretty exhausted by the time they reach the game’s climax, particularly those who chose to focus on other things besides just the main story. Does The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Have a New Game Plus Mode?
Unfortunately,Tears of the Kingdomdoes not include aNew Game Plus modeat launch. However, that’s not to say that there’s nothing in the way of post-game content. After completing the main story, players will be sent back to the main menu, upon which, they’ll notice that their save file now has a little star next to it. If they load this save file up, they’ll see that a completion rate is now displayed in the bottom right-hand corner of the map screen. To reach 100% completion, they’ll need tocomplete every shrine,collect every Korok Seed, andvisit every named location in Hyrule.
Things to Do After Completing Tears of the Kingdom
In addition to the aforementioned tasks, there are plenty of other things for players to see and do after finishing the main story ofTears of the Kingdom. If they haven’t already, they can complete all of the game’sside quests, which should keep them busy for quite some time. Then there are the manyoptional mini-boss battlesthat can be found scattered throughoutthe Kindom of Hyrule, some of which can really test the player’s combat skills.
Those interested more inthe lore of theZeldafranchisemay want to work towards completingthe Hyrule Compendium, which serves as aTears of the Kingdomencyclopedia of sorts. Additionally, players could opt to travel around the Kingdom of Hyrule gathering up all of theoutfits and armor setsinTears of the Kingdomand upgrading them to the max level with the help of the four Great Fairies.
Will Tears of the Kingdom Get a New Game Plus Mode in the Future?
LikeTears of the Kingdom,Breath of the Wilddidn’t feature a New Game+ mode at launch. Strictly speaking, it still doesn’t have one, though three months on from the game’s release, it did receivean enhanced difficulty setting called Master Modecourtesy of the Master Trials DLC. With this in mind, it’s possible thatTears of the Kingdomwill get something similar at some point, so players should keep an eye out for updates in the weeks and months following the game’s release.
